Who are the owners
La Bruyère campsite in Savoie?
Nelly & Fred love camping, and have pitched their tents as far afield as Australia and the USA.
After 6 years of pampering campers and motorhome owners at a campsite in Brides-les-Bains, their desire for nature and authenticity convinced them to move to the heart of the Savoie department.
They advocate slow tourism. Where our daily lives take us at 100 km/h, vacations are a privileged moment to take the time to do things.
And to disconnect if you wish.
Their aim: to offer you a wonderful experience where sense of service, relaxation, conviviality, nature and slow tourism are the key words. All in an ideal natural setting .
Their plans
for the campsite
Completing the renovation of the sanitary building and fitting out the common room.
Install 4 new lodge tents
Create a playground
Forge partnerships with local producers to showcase local products
Providing food-trucks
What you'll never find
in their campsite
Nelly & Fred advocates simple tourism as a way of reconnecting with nature, as opposed to the outdoor hotel industry, which has developed considerably in recent years with increasingly sophisticated structures.
We offer all our pitches for short or medium stays only, to give our campers as much choice as possible.
Respect for the environment, sustainable tourism and ecotourism are part of their values. That's why they want to keep environmental damage to a minimum.
The Rivièr Alp ecological bathing site is a 10-minute drive from the campsite.
Fred & Nelly are independent and proud of it! Far from standardized services, they prefer to pay special attention to each and every one of their guests.
No, on site you'll find peace, quiet and conviviality.

So peaceful and quiet, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Excellent facilities, with charming and extremely amenable hosts, who walked around with us to ensure that we had a spot that caught the late afternoon sun. We sat outside and stargazed after dinner and I didn't get a single mosquito bite! We would have gone back the following week had they not been closing a little earlier than usual this season for further renovations. We can't recommend the place more highly! 😊Published on Susanne DasgehteuchnixanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Idyllically located small, quiet campground Absolutely courteous welcome, very warm Small but nice and super clean sanitary facilities Option to order bread, etc. for the next dayPublished on Churros L (Churros)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A real green oasis, peaceful, with very friendly owners. The campsite is very pleasant: modern, spotless bathrooms, spacious pitches, well separated by pretty hedges and covered with beautiful grass. We spent one night there in our van and learned that the campsite was closing the next day for renovations, which promises even more comfort and services in the future. We can't wait to come back and see the improvements! And what's more, they sell a very good local beer 😊Published on Enrico CalanchiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We wanted to stay one night on our way through to Provence, but ended up staying two nights. Two stars for this campsite is definitely not enough! Brand new toilet facilities with toilet paper and soap, and everything is cleaned every day by the owner herself.
